It is used in basements in new construction. The only thing that they use it for up here are basements and garages. Everything else(main house) requires high density insulation in order to meet code on insulation.(that's what I was told). It's on the side of a house as a breathable mositure barrier which should mean that water(moisture) should channel down the wall behind it to the floor . I could be all wrong about this?
