I claim to remember riding in dad's lap as we brought our new tractor home from the dealer---a 1949 Minneapolis Moline GTB. While it was a 1949 model I don't know what year it was purchased, perhaps 1950 or even 1951 since I feel certain I remember it and was born near new years day in 1947. I do remember going to Ringling Bros. circus that year so it is possible.
That same tractor is the first I drove. It was traded off around 1971 for an M-5. If I knew who had the old GTB I expect I would go make an offer on it. Have only seen one other exactly like it as most folk in our area went from U to GB or other.
