I think I "get" the conflict between smokers and non-smokers. How you manage to link a smoking ban to abortion is what I don't get.
If you feel you're losing freedoms, then run for office yourself, or support those who believe as you do, and see if they win.
I agree with you that it's "free air" out there, but I prefer not to have my free air smelling like someone's cigarette smoke. Some people feel they have a "right" to smoke. More and more people feel that the "right" to smoke shouldn't interfere with the ability of everyone else to breathe clean air. If people smoke anywhere and anytime they want to, then other's freedoms are being usurped.
