mine are used for several purposes, hunting, personal protection,the .22s are for target plinking, cheaper to shoot them than a larger protection gun, i have several just for this purpose couple in the house, 1 in each truck 1 in the car, [saves on carring back and forth] when we travel i put 1 in the suitcase so we can have one with us in the motel without being seen to have it,[ we always drive to where we are going, no airplanes these days] i havent had to use one to defend myself since 1982, and hope i dont have to again, but i also will not allow me or my family to be harmed by some of these criminals that are out there just looking for a score either, i will always keep my guns i dont care what some eastern dude gets passed into law, as far as the 2nd amendment it is clear and it is not to be changed
