Wilson has all the info there, but if you are new to this sort of thing that might be hard to figure out.
There are a few ways you could add power steering to your M. Two manufacturers (maybe more, but two that are common) made an add-on kit for power steering. These are Char-lynn and Behlen. You can do a search on eBay, the for sale section here, or even the forum postings to see one. They were commonly installed to run off the crank pulley on the front of the tractor, and routed hydraulic pressure to a torque motor that was installed on the steering shaft either under or above the hood. (Depends on the brand)
The other option is that a live hydraulic pump can be added before the distributor as mentioned by Wilson. You may have to change the timing cover on your M to make this work, but that way you always have live hydraulics for your machine. You would then install one fo the torque motors in the steering shaft and install a flow priority valve in the hydraulic system.
Either option is not going to be cheap unless you have lots of the parts handy or know someone who is getting rid of their old setup.
