I was doing a discing job today,with my A/C Model M, and all of a sudden the motor goes wide open with no throttle control. I shut it down right away. Now where do I start. I pulled the carb everything looked ok. I thought the governor went bad. I took the governor off it looked ok, but I changed it anyway since I had another one. after a lot of wasted time I finally found the problem. There is a screw in bushing that the linkage goes through under the motor side cover. The bushing had unscrewded disconnecting the carb linkage. It was a simple repair, Why do we always go the the worst and hardest thing first. Seams that is how I work. Stan
