I bought a stihl pole saw a couple of years ago, looks like the same model, could be wrong. Anyway, it works great for trimming field edges and I'm glad I bought it. Just keep the chain sharp and let the saw do the work, don't apply any down pressure. Easily cuts branches up to 6-7 inches. If you fall out of the bucket, a trip to the ER will cost you more than the saw! Brian
