Is there 4-way valve that would provide UP, HOLD, FLOAT, and DOWN for my add-on 3-point hitch? UP, HOLD, and FLOAT with a single-acting cylinder is fine for most things, but it would be nice to add DOWN pressure for getting the 3-point bucket to dig into the ground better. The Northern Hydraulics catalog (www.northerntool.com) lists several Prince valves. I am not able to determine from the description if one of them will do exacly what I want. Northern recommended their 2010 model, but I don't think it will provide the FLOAT I need for mowing etc. It is a "standard 4-way control valve". Their 2032 valve is a "4-way with FLOAT". Northern told me it won't give down pressure. It seems like it should, else it wouldn't be any better than a 3-way valve. Also, what are these "load checks" some of the valves have. If they don't have load checks, will the implement drop while the handle is being moved from the UP to the HOLD position?
