Not a doubt in my mind that you can hook it up safely, BUT!!! Check with your insurance agent. They may not cover the building if you hook up yourself. My insurance agent was telling me about a situation they have. Farmer brown put up a new bin, he and hired hand helped. Had local coop hook up the heater and fan. Bad connection on gas line, bin caught fire and burned shed next to bin. Coop won't pay because Farmer Brown helped and coop's installer would not have made a mistake, had to be Farmer Browns mistake. Farmer Browns insurance won't pay because coop installed and should have checked everything over. They have been fighting for a couple of years, probably end up in court. Chris
