That was interesting. You asked how far down the cutting edge should be as measured off the sides. I wandered out to the barn and looked at mine. It's about 3/4 to 1". It does have a pretty serious sweep forward as compared to the sides. Make it 7/8" or whatever it is in mm's and you should be fine. The toplink adjusts the cutting depth. The more I crank the box blade up in the front of it, the less the front cutting edge cuts and the back edge really digs in when backing up. The reverse is true, the more I crank the front of the box down, the more the front edge cuts and the back edge will be above the ground. That is, I can smooth with the back edge and not have it dig in. If I make the front edge of the box down, the cutting edge really digs in.
