Walt, thats wrong. 2 batteries in series will only have the amperage of the weakest battery in the circuit. When you connect 2 batteries in parallel the voltage stays the same but the amperage goes up. This is part of Ohm's law. 2 12 volt 800cca batteries in parallel will have 1600cca at 12 volts. 2 6V 800cca batteries in series will have 12 volts and 800cca.
