Back in the sixties we used a Brillion mower/hog attached to a 35 Ferguson to chop up all of the pruning branches in the apple orchard. I had to drive it on the road from the valley to the ridge which was about two miles. When I got to the top of the hill I looked back and was only driving the tractor. That was a heck or a feeling until I went back and found it sitting there in the middle of the road and no harm done. Another time we were on a camping trip and I had a car top carrier on the top of a 78 Ford van. It had our supplies and a small generator in it. We needed some extra money and went to an ATM at a bank in Michigan. After getting the money I pulled ahead never realizing that the carrier wouldn't clear the roof by the ATM. It snapped the straps and the carrier fell off the back and everything scattered on the ground. Again, no real harm done. It was after hours and the place was closed so no one but us saw it.
