industrial mechanic, I've seen countless people equate an increase in pressure to an increase in performance. Usually there is an underlying problem with the system. First make sure the fluid is topped up and clean. Change any filters. Fix any leaks. Grease the pins, and check for any binding in the linkages throughout the entire range of motion. The next step would be to test the pump output, it may be weak. Just turning up the pressure can cause more problems than it can solve. Don't forget to get a manual. Hope this helps.
