If she is happy and you are happy, It's a good deal, make sure that you understood her correctly and if your conscience bothers you make sure you do a lot more for the old gal than bring her venison. Many of these old widows have no one to care for their problems around the house. This one just may become your resposibility to help out in her coming years. Just the fact that you are concerned shows character and maybe she sees that also, just my 2 cents.
