There are far better choices. 8N's were OK in their day, and they even have some use today. But they're note quite enough to be moving round bales. You'll find a few in decent shape, but consider their age and what "average condition" might entail.
For the price tag you'll see on the average 8N, I'd look around for a later model Massey Ferguson or Ford, possibly a MF150/165, 245/255, or a Ford 4000/4600. They'll set you back a few more pesos, but you'll have a LOT more tractor.
JMHO. but I'd look for diesel, power steering, live power, 3-point hitch of course, and in the 45 to 55 hp range.
