In my opinion if you can have yours rebuilt for $1500.00 you are way crazy to be looking for a used one to take a chance on being any good. Any used item you buy should be freshened up before installing anyway. In todays market $1500.00 would not be any money at all for a rebuilt transmission, I had a firm quote me $2000.00 for a automobile transmission for goodness sake!, Check out shop rates in your area and do some math. In 46 years in the shop I have been where you are and you can't take a chance on used for $1500.00. Now if you had said $15000.00------!! mEl
