Can you explain your question better. There is nothing to stop the arms from coming up, it works just like any other 3pt hitch. When you move your lever to raise the load you don't just take you hand off the lever and wait. You keep your hand on the lever in case something isn't right then you can lower the load just like any three point implement you would do that with. There are some loads that make the front end light but I'm not sure I understand your questions. As for the three point arms you can raise them by hand when they are in the down position and the tractor isn't running. This helps in hooking up to implements. I know some John Deere tractors you can't lift them by hand.
The legs are on there so it has something to set on when not on the tractor. The lift is too heavy to move around by hand while hooking up to the tractor.
