There is a variety called Laredo that is sold for soybean hay. There was a lot of regular beans made into hay around here (SE Missouri) last year because they weren't going to make yield (drought). Sold out of the field for $2.50-2.75 a bale (square). They were cut when the pods filled out (as much as they were going to). Curious about this myself. Anybody got anymore info. HB
