Id remove the spark plugs and fill the cylenders with PB blaster and try to crank it every few days. Or tap the starter button. Emphises on tap, not hold.
Another method is removing the engine and tearing it down and pounding out the pistons.
Or you could pull the head and take a look, but if its been sitting for a year i wouldnt think its stuck that bad, but i could be wrong
