Jesse, Easiest way is this way, can be done in one afternoon! Here goes............. 1. Remove all tinwork & gastank! Remove intake/exhaust, Head, Pan, Oilpump, & Rod caps 2, Roll tractor outside, make sure area is clear of any Flammables, 3, In the cylinder that has the most Volume, fill with Diesel add a splash of gas, set the Diesel/gas mixture on fire! Go get a cup of coffee! While the mixture is burning. When the fire is out take a hammer and wood block and drive the piston out from the bottom. 4, Repeat with the cylinder that has the most volume Now that the first piston is out. Keep repeating till all the pistons are out. NOTE: as the volume decreases the burn time is shortened so a 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th, etc etc may be needed. This techneique will salvage your pistons and cylinders if they are not too far gone allready. At least it is an easier way to get your engine apart that just beating the h3ll out of the pistons, Have fun, Be safe, just be heads up doing this, LAter, John A.
