I think the eletric fuel pump power circut is wired so that oil pressure is required for the electric pump to run. Its a saftey feature in case of an accident with the motor not running and a broken fuel line, fuel is not pumped on to a potental fire. Best thing to do is hook up a mecanical gauge. Was it starting to rattle? With no oil pressure they start to make noise real quick. Did you ever get that snowblower to work?
