When crude peaked at $147 a barrel gas was $3.89 in my area of the midwest.Today crude is around $40 and gas is $1.65.Using those figures gas would be $6.00 a gallon if crude goes back up to $147 a barrel.
Diesel was $2.04 on Weds and was $2,15 yesterday.I havent checked the local kerosene prices recently but they are a rip off.
