You probably need to change the transmission and rear end oil. Be advised there are 2 plugs under the housing and you have to remove both to completly drain the oil. Change filter if it's the spin on type, clean if it's the wire mesh type. Remember the oil in the gear housing at the end of each rear axle needs to be checked. Should be up to the bottom plug. I hope you are looking at only minor repairs. I don't know where to tell you to look for the noise. It uses tractor-hydraulic fluid. The transmission and rear end act as a oil resevoir for the hydraulic system. The power steering oil is in a different circuit and take s power steering fluid. The PS resevoir is at the top left hand side of the motor.
