I"m looking at a Farmall 504 diesel and as we were moving the tractor, a hydrolic hose busted. It was one of the hoses that goes to the rear in/out. It started leaking pretty bad. My concern is that the fluid that was coming out was egg yoke yellow. Is this the color it is suppse to be? I read somewhere that the hydrolic oil and the thansmisssion oil are the same. This will be my first ever tractor. I'm greener than green. The gentleman also had to add half a squirt of starting fluid. I didn"t see flip a switch for the glow plugs if that is even how its done. Is any of this normal? Please help
