hey all, Im trying to help my neighbor with his dozer. Basically, the right side seems to be lacking in power, especially under load, while the left side runs very well. I"ve adjusted both sides steering clutches and brakes to spec. Yet the dozer seems to drift right when running, especially behind a pile of snow, and when you try to turn left, there is almost no power to the right side, it just stops. also, even after adjusting the clutches the right side clutch lever seems to be a lot softer of an engagement then the left side. The dozer, I beleive, is roughly 50 years old with hydraulically controlled clutches of the dry, multiple disc type. I figure that there has got to be either leakage in the hydraulic cylinder holding the clutch from complete engagement or weak clutch springs, because i know the brake is not dragging. Any help would be much appreciated as I am not much of an heavy equipment tech.
