I've been shopping for a utility tractor thinking that something with thirty-some HP would be fine. But as I get closer to buying something, I wonder. The most power I will need is pulling trailer loads of firewood up a steep woods road. It is maybe a 25 or 30 degree angle for maybe an eighth of a mile. The trailer is 6x10 feet rated at 2990 pounds. Would, say, a Perkins 3-cylinder gas (38HP) in a small Massey struggle with this from a power point of view? Speed is not an issue. I'd be happy to creep up the hill, but don't want to be using the last drop of power to do it. Thanks. Bob
