actually, I am buying round bales to feed the heifers, getting another load of them saturday. I have an old retired dairyman that keeps the prices right for me, to get a herd built up again. I pay 30 for 4x5 1st cut and 40 for 2nd cut. He has 3rd at 50 a piece. I keep my hay guy hidden cuz I know I am getting a heck of alot better price and quality hay that goes thru the sale barn.
