I asked the same question a few years ago on this board. A fellow suggested Amlactin 12 lotion. His wife uses it as she works in the medical field and is continually washing her hands. Very pricy stuff available at most pharmacys but well worth the price. I've used it thru 3 winters now once per day just before bed. Used to be from September thru May I would have at least a dozen cracks at a time usually finger tips. Now I have maybe a 1/2 dozen all winter long and they arn't too bad either. Stings like crazy when you first use it but that goes away ok. Try it out.
