I always put in writing that I don't stand labor on defective/poor quality parts. Just like used engines. I'll install your engine, but if it's not a good one, you pay labor again till you find a good one. That's why I always recommend O.E. parts where ever possible. If I install a GM crate engine, and it fails 1000 miles down the road, they offer a labor allowance for warranty. Not all parts warranties will pay the full labor amount, so the customer has to make up the difference some times.
