I just recently aquired an 89 F-600 Ford with a hydraulic knuckle boom and a 400amp Hobart welder. The truck is gas (370-2v) and is sposed to run good, I was told it had a new timing chain, and I can see that its got a new carb, cap, wires and plugs. The batteries are dead and I havnt got around to getting it going but the guy that hauled it in said the brakes werent working. I know the welder(perkins diesel) runs/sounds good but havnt tried to weld with it to see if it puts out. the knuckle boom is going to need one ram rechromed but otherwise is fine. Its also got a big old vise on the back thats gotta go 100# the side tool boxes (2) could stand sandin and paint but everything else should shine up nice tires all better than 90%..Im kinda in a $ pinch these days and Im thinkin about just gettin it running and sellin it but have no idea what its worth anyone got any idea?
