I live off the Grid in the middle of my woods. I have a Northern Tool 13 hp 13000 watt generator that I run for about 2 hours every day or so to charge my zantrex 2000 inverter/charger which charges 1500 amp hours of 12 volt batteries. We have TV, Fridge,Lights, PS2 ETC,Busy family of 5.I run the generator as little as possible because of the noise and when we run it we try to get laundry done, sewing, power tools or any other larger loads accomplished. We bought a wind generator from ebay and we are unhappy with it, we keep it up for looks. We are hoping to buy solar electric cells as the money comes.
