As previously stated - bunching/moving logs is a horse of a different color than field work, esp. if you are on uneven/hilly terrain. Be careful not to have a log 'hang up' and have everything upside/down on top of you. If you are moving big logs, remember that you can cut them down in length to a manageable size/weight to keep the front end on the ground (Some type of Roll Over Protection would be good to have, even shop/home built to custom fit your choice of tractor if not already fit with one). About ten years back, I had a similiar situation to yours. My choice was a Ford 860, a little more hp with live pto (for bush hogging and later on square baling) than a 8N/9N and similiar sized Fergusons, etc., but still small enough to be functional in tight spots and for transporting on a 16' trailer, plus had 4 points of support for stability on the hill sides vs. a 3 wheeled model. An added 'beefed up' grill guard/bumper for radiator protection, and an underside skid plate to protect the oil pan, will help minimize problems if you have really rough/stumpy conditions. Good Luck
