I agree with this or if you size the windows to show both the original folder and the destination folder. Highlite the desired files(pictures) and drag to the destination folder. You could drag them individualy also.
Then when done, back up all desired files on Vista to a nice big flash drive and install XP. Then move the files back on to an operating system that is much more user friendly and stable. The only OS MS made that was worse is WinMe
