My old 54 chevy truck is used to haul my tractor and disc. Dad didn't wear it out, so I am going to give it a try. It is a 6400 series. It is a 1 1/2 - 2 ton flat bed. The bendix brake assist(hydrovac) mounts under the bed and is operated by manifold vacuum. It is seperate from the master cylinder. I need a repair kit for this unit. Any body know where old chevy truck parts can be purchased? Another problem is a large spring inside that is broken. That may be a problem finding? Thanks stan
