I need help- What are the first signs of a torque converter going bad? It has a automatic trans and it just started doing some strange vibrating and loud howling when I start out -not as bad at higher speeds but still very noticable. Thought I might have snow crammed in somewhere as it did it the first time just after going through a lot of snow and then quit for a few days after it had gotten warm enough to melt any snow under the engine. Then after going through the next snow before the roads were plowed, It started again. Hasn't been warm enough to melt any snow since. Thanks
