Ford 3000 clutch problem

Stretching fence wire, pushed in the clutch only to have it bottom out and not return to the up position, without actually disengaging the clutch at all. Have I lost the clutch entirely? The pedal will not come back up without help, and when down does not disengage the transmission. Help!
