If it is full to the filler cap it must be diesel getting in the crankcase, on your fuel pump there should be a thumb lever to manually prime fuel after changing fuel filters etc. With the engine shut off, pull the dipstick or the fill cap and manually pump fuel, if the crankcase overflows then your fuel pump diaphragm is probably bad which is cheap fix plus oil change. If it is internal engine problem -- rings, piston or something then there should be other symptoms -- rough running, obvious smoking -- it could be the injector pump gear seals but then it should run weak and be hard to crank.I would advise against running the engine very much until you figure it out because the diesel will lower your oil viscosity.
