we change quite a few of the motors. napa has a decent motor at a good price compared to an oem unit. you can either bolt the new motor in, or rivet it in. on some of the regulators, you need to put a stop bolt in before removing the motor, cause that spring can snap the regulator like a mouse trap. read the instructions that come with the replacement motor, if they say put the bolt in, do so!!
