I've got a 1945 Avery model A, electric (6V) start and a magneto ignition. I could sure use a wiring diagram if anyone has got one. Someone who had this tractor must have had a better use for the wire than the tractor did because most of it is gone. This is my first wiring of a mag ignition tractor. Is it pretty much the same as any distributor ignition tractor from those times other than the wire that would normally go to the coil would go to the mag? I've wired a few of those so that would be a start. Also, did this tractor run a positive ground electrical system like most stuff from those days? And the generator has a little shut off relay box on top so I assume that the tractor should have the old 3-position charge control/light switch as well, is that correct? Anybody out there can help out?
