We had Wild Blue for several years through a local COOP. It was far, far better than dial up.
As already noted snow or heavy rain storms can block the signal but other than that it is OK. It is more expensive than some other options. We did have three of the reciever cones replaces due to moisture but the COOP never charged me for them. We left Wild Blue when DSL came way out here in the country, otherwise we would still be using them.
