Previous owner swears it gets 16 mpg driving it 55 to 60, and that was after I had already bought it. I don't think he's to bad off because at 55mph the tach is just about 2k. Price wise, trucks are high around here....incredibly high and thats even if you can find them. Example, before I bought this truck from an individual, the local dealer had a 2006 1500hd that was a full crew cab, no leather, but other than that, was pretty much loaded, 40k miles, was asking $24,900. I argued, cussed, and told them no wonder GM was going bankrupt with dealers like them, then they came down to $23,900 and acted like I was stealing it. I figured this truck new, with the ext cab would have been in $25k range...anywhere else in the country that is. Here, they would have been in the upper 20's....
