That is the best way to go , and, if you take the"mail order" prescription drug offer with Tricare (free to you also) you can save even more money on your meds. Otherwise, you will automatically be enrolled in Tricare's standard precriptiion drug program that has attached co-pays with it every time you are issued RX's at your local pharmacy -- still a good very deal and is equal to and better in most cases than SS Part "D"; just cost's you more.
