It"s got to be DC voltage to work, not AC. And it will work best if the voltage is in the 10 to 30 volt range. I don"t know about auto shutoff . .. what does that do, shutoff when the battery is charged? I guess that means the charger can tell when the current stops flowing. That"s what happens when the battery is charged. In electrolysis, the current doesn"t stop flowing, until the rods get contaminated, and have to be cleaned. I think it would work.
10,000 volts? . . .huh? It"s not the flammable gas you have to watch out for, it"s that sweet smelling stuff . . .
