I realize this is a tractor forum, but my question involves a tractor so hear it goes: I am about to purchase a ford 6600 diesel tractor (80 HP) with a front end loader (ford), bucket, hay spikes on both front and back. I am unsure of the year of this tractor and am guessing it has fairly high hours on it. The tractor has 3 new tire on it and the fourth is in good shape. This owner has maintained it very well and has done the following things for maintanence: Replaced clutch/clutch plate. Replaced the entire PTO system (last year). Along with this tractor I am buying a New Idea Hay Mower (9ft), a 605c Vermeer (older model) hay baler, and a Hay rake 9double winrow adjustable 3 pt hitch. The guy is asking 16,500 for the entire package. He bought this equipment new but has used it for many years himself. Does this sound like a fair price. The tractor and all the equipment seems like it is in top notch shape. Help.
