I don't know how it works in Tennessee right now. I don't smoke or go to bars, so I don't have any skin in the game personally.
I do know that for a while at least, restaurants and bars were able to continue smoking if they prohibited any one under the age of 21 from entering the establishment. There's a very old, very established coffee shop in Columbia, TN that now has a sign on the door that says that you must be 21 to enter.
I agree with you and the others by the way, I don't like the government telling any business owner how to run his business.
