you can get the conversion kits from napa. you need to evac the system, we generally hold a vacuum on it with our charging station for 6 hours or so. you need to use the esther oil for the 134 conversion. you also ned to know the r-12 capacity of the system.r-134 is 80% of the r-12 volume. so take your lbs of r12 times .8 will give you how many pounds of 134 to add. i converted my 90 gmc suburban, cools just as good with 134 as it did with r12.
