I just wish I could get my wife to understand why I don't want to watch that stuff with her. I don't care what she watches on her TV/satellite receiver in her sewing and crafts room. But I don't want chick flicks on in the family room where I am somewhat of a captive audience.
Those shows are all the same and so predictable...a smart gal comes up with some sort of problem and is able to come up with a way to make everything OK, and then she lives happily forever and ever. Yeccch!
I love my wife and in general, we have a very happy life together. But she IS A WOMAN. And I have come to believe that women just plain think differently than men. So if she turns on that crap, I just get up and leave the room. Much easier, and better for me, than having a disagreement about it. Good luck!
