Thank you all for the thread on growing tobacco, I really enjoyed it, When I was a young boy, Growing up in Morgantown, WV. My grandfather Was friends with an old feller named Jonny West. Johnny grew tobacco, Don't Know what kind it was, He was going to teach me how to roll cigar's but never got around to it. (he pasted a way) but I always wondered what he did with the taobacco that he raised, I don't think he used it all for his own use, I often thought it would be fun to grow some but I wouldn't know what to do & if there was a market for it. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
