Unless you had bad valves before the stale gas glue stuck them open, you should be able to melt that gunk out of there with a good spray can of carb cleaner. Remove the manifolds and spray cleaner around the valve stems from the top. Once you get the "glue" washed out of the guides, the valves should be back to normal.
