There was a very high dollar farmsite for sale near me for a couple of years, fella got a big chunk of money from developers by the 'Cities & turned it into a huge fancy house & sheds & a large heated, air conditioned work shop, new large grain setup, etc etc. It was out of place for the location. Way too fancy for a working farmer, way too big for a retired farmer, too much farm stuff included & too remote for a retiring AGI investor....
I didn't see it on TV, but they went through 2 realitors & had an auction or 2 to sell it. Ads were everywhere. Looking for that one person that could swing it & would want to.
Don't know if it ever did sell yet, it was just too much, too big, for the ecconomy & location - on a gravel road. More in it than anyone else could afford.
